CPSIA - How to Write Your Members of Congress

I have been asked to write a reminder on how you can easily email your Congressman and Senators. You can find your Congressman and Senator using the TIA's advocacy webpage, see On this site, just enter your zip code and you will see links for your Congressman and Senators. Once you enter your zip code, you will see a variety of options, including "Write your own message to Federal elected officials". By clicking through on the option of your choice, you will be able to write your members of Congress about the CPSIA and related topics.

Why write to the members of congress - they ARE the culprit.
Why ask the master to be a little bit less harsh to us?
Just disregard them, laugh about them and do what is the right thing to do.
By asking them to be nice we actually give them power to do more stupid things like they do all the time - does not the past show that this is the case?

Hi Rick -- Clicked over from the Free Range Kids blog so I could do my part about this latest big-gov absurdity. Unfortunately, the link in your post goes right to a Outlook Web Access web email portal. Not sure what's going on there -- is there an alternate link for taking action? Thx.

I think I fixed the link. Sorry about that! Rick
